I’d like to add that the national average is closer to 40%. Also, people who identify as trans or homosexual are also overwhelmingly white. The straight, white, cis-gendered male really has the cards stacked against him. But hey, EQUITY!!!!

I was in a training today about suicide being “taught” by a trainer who identified as gay (pronouns he/him) and not that it matters on its own accord, but when discussing why the majority of suicides are by men, “toxic masculinity” was the reason given by this “woke” trainer who couldn’t be more shallow and wrong about the topic. This individual is a licensed mental health counselor. Absolutely disgusting and appalling. Let’s just say this was the first time I ever quoted research on a training survey.
