So I've been interested in trying to distill my own small batch (personal use ) liquor. I haven't done so because, alas, the feds and state don't allow it unless you go all in and get licensed through a very onerous process. What I find slightly amusing is that most small stills you can get online include recipes for moonshine. What's even worse is that it's perfectly fine to make beer and wine at home. Distilling your own alcohol should be an at your own risk thing as long as your not selling it to anyone. My bib overalls and slouch hat are ready
