Since about age 65 I've taken to getting annual flu shots, and since 2020 covid shots as well. Monday I got my annual flu and covid vaccinations. I'll be 77 next month and definitely am not as strong as I used to be. Last month I had to cut my 6-day backpacking trip short in the North Cascades because the herniated disc in my lower back began acting up. As Old Man Jim was quoted, "Getting old is the drizzling sh!ts."
