What Carcassman said about the early returners being tributary spawner's makes sense

I caught a good number of early Natives on the Hoh and Solduc and some on the Bogachiel,, high in the systems from the bank starting in early December ,, Chrome fresh fish right out of the salt,, so they had moved upstream pretty fast... In the Hoh there were a lot of smaller fish up in the North Fork by December and a lot of them had been in the river a while... Those fish were headed way up and into the high tributaries... You would find them after a high water when some get by the nets...
