I've lived in the Aberdeen area since 1968....have fished all the local rivers from the bank, from drift boat and my jet boat. This time of the year my target was the Late Coho.

First time EVER, water color was good today. No boats or take out rigs at the highway boat launch, same at the West Fork and no put in rigs at Decker Creek.

Now the bad news, river just below Crook Creek, is jammed with "big wood" and complete "no way thur" from bank to bank. Maybe be able to pull a raft or drift boat around the wood on the West side of the river.....maybe?????

Have no idea what the river was like from Crook Creek to West Fork, I do know lots of wood came down during all the high water .....

If you do fish, do with lots of caution!!!!!!
