Serious post, really!

I've heard that Wee Warts have been very effective on the W2. In years past, I've only used conventional drift gear and hardware with outstanding success. I'll be heading up that way in April and wanted to dry the Wee Wart approach to these fish.

For those out there who have successfully used Wee Warts on the W2, could you please email me with some good basic colors and techniques.

Since most all of the fishing is on the bank, I'm curious to know how one runs a Wee Wart to the fish. Cast and retreive? Stand/wade above a slot and work the plugs down and in to the fish?

I figure it's worth a shot. Sounds like it could be fun if done correctly.

Also, I will be "guiding" two Californians who are fly advocates. I've never fished the W2 with flies. Any suggestions on patterns in April?

Thanks for any info,

Parker
