Thats a lot of river! The Cow is not a terrible river to run or to learn, but since it is a fairly big river you just need to spend time on it. Always learn a river from the bottom up you can read the water far better going up rather than down. As far as fish...hmmmm....winter steelies have been almost nonexistant, Springers almost certain won't have a season...the season of choice will probably be silvers again.
