I havent been using alot of bait this season, because frankly it hast been worth the money because there are not many fish around. As you guys know, eggs and sand shrimp are pretty expensive considering the amount you receive. Ive heard Prawns(deep water shrimp) are good to use for steelies. Do any of you use prawns consistantly? If so, how do they compare to other baits(eggs,s.shrimp)?? Are they a good low water bait?

seems to me they are pretty cheap in the seafood sections and you get alot more. 5$ per pound or something.

Any info would be appreciated =)
