You can fish most of the upper Quinault river. Public access is pretty much from the Park side - North Shore Rd..
Most of the South Shore Rd. is private, and more land is posted all the time.
Watch out around the Big Creek area (washout) it has been sold to Carlson and Lutz and they are a couple of pickle smokers. They own from the base of the hill on the South shore to the park boundary on the North shore.
Be sure to take a camera. It is nice country and there are a few elk an bear along the river.
