She is a UW Oceanography graduate student who applied for and recieved a National Science Foundation grant to visit the United States Antarctic Program. It's a program that teaches students and faculty how to conduct science and research in the Antarctic. World wide, there were 40 students and faculty for this years program. At a measy 40K a pop per person, that's a cool 1.6 million of your US Tax dollars at work! Gotta love Federal Dollars! Parker _________________________ T.K. Paker
