Pink is the 'go to' color of course. Don't overlook purple or black worms. I found a good black one with a very small chartruse lower tip on the end that looks promising; but haven't tried it yet. Also, for low clear winter steelhead, and especially summer steelhead, try using the real thing. Pinch off 4" of live nightcrawler and rig it on with a little bit of pink yarn. Drifting or floats work great. You might like to try hooking a 4" pink worm on a double hook sandshrimp rig to backtroll about 55" behind a Hot N Tot diver. Leave about 1 1/2" dangling for action, and the HnT puts even more action on them. Fish on! ... BTW, SAUKit gave me a pink conehead to try. It kind of looked like a giant pink sperm cell repleat with tail. You don't suppose Justin was trying to tell me something?
