Part of my arsenal for a lot of years ... I still use them under medium flows quite a bit. Some tips if you use bait with them: fish marabous with shrimp, standards with eggs ... egg goo ruins the action of the marabou patterns.

Marabou patterns work extremely well when drifted down into current seams where you almost backbounce them through the seam ... they provide outstanding action when fished this way.

Another trick if the water is exceptionally clear and the fish won't take a standard one is to cut a portion of the foam head off and / or blacken the foam with a magic marker ... my largest steelie ever came on a black marabou fished solo with a blackened head.
