Hey- I have not tried that brand of packer, but my Tilia was only $130 and it came with the extra attachments.

As for the bags......The "texured" portion of the Foodsaver bags are actually air channels, a must for the lower level pakers like the KeepFresh and FoodSaver.

The smooth type bags are basically designed for the commercial packers.

But, both can be used in either machine, but I have found that ice crystals form in the smooth bags more often then the bags with air channels.
