Around here I get the SS from just about any photo developing shop. It of course has to be one that actually develops. You can usually talk them into letting you have a small amount for a few dollars. I then mix the sodium sulf with an equal amount of sugar. Lay the eggs out on paper towel, sprinkle both sides with a good layer. Let them dry until rubbery, turning them over once or twice, about a day for steelhead, longer for chinook. I then put them into a jar with an air-tight lid. Take the air out by lighting a small piece of paper and dropping it into the container before tightening the lid. Store the eggs in the fridge, freezer if they are going to be stored for long periods. I have done my eggs this way for quite some time and they are absolutely incredible. Hope this helps.
