I just got back from the Wind River and have some bad news to share with everyone.

I must first say thanks for screwing things up slobs mad. That is directed to the litterbugs and people that didn't pay the $4 access fee to Donna St. Martens land.

For those who had planned on the east bank of the river below Shipperd Falls, you may find a locked gate when you arrive.

The land owner didn't like how they and their land were treated during last years springer season. This year, I was told that they are allowing 15 vehicles into the parking lot at any given time. No overnight camping is allowed. A gate will be locked every night. The gate will be reopened in the morning when they feel like it. If they find a lot of litter the day before, the gate may not be open all.

I'm not happy about this, but I am sympathetic to the land owner.

As for the fishing on the Wind below the falls. I ran into around 20 fisherman and no one had a thing. I heard that there are only 27 fish in the trap right now.
