Got the willies upside down in the garage yesterday, sanded and preped for it's annual bottom coating tune-up. This morning, I opened one of 2 cans of "coat-it", my coating of choice, and found it had half solidified and was only usuable after MUCH stirring. Not sure whether to use it, I opened the second can and found it had completely solidified...useless!

Apparently, I bought a bad batch. The 2 quart cans were bought at Fisherman's Marine Supply in Portland a year ago last fall. At the time, I bought a few extra cans for insurance. I've never had a problem with product quality before and shelf life shouldn't be an issue if properly sealed (and the seals on the lid were tight).

Anybody else have this problem? I'm a little chapped because I'm out $40.00, the receipt is long gone and I know I stand virtually no chance of compensation. Besides, there is a nasty rumor going around that the stuff is being discontinued.
