While I never fished the Queets much in the summers before I began coming north, I imagine the timeing is similar to other NW coastal streams ... which means that you'll have some around, but will probably be a tad early for the best summerrun fishing. You'll probably find though, much like the Hoh, you'll get some fish that are true late winters (ocean maturing rather than river maturing) that will be spawing soon.
