Welcome aboard SM. I really love some of the areas you likely fish; Clearwater and Salmon Rivers - beautiful. I haven't made it up to McCall yet, but I will eventually. The pics I've seen of the ponderosa pine forests around the Payette River on the way up there are enticing for sure! The lake didn't look too shabby either. Other than the Snake system salmon & steelhead fishing, what is the trout fishing like in the Payette near you, and the Selway off the upper Clearwater these days? It used to be great back when I drove back and forth to my roots in Missoula, Montana many years ago. Also, do they still have the steelhead recycling program in the Boise River? ...
