Float and egg? Would this be the same as float and jig, except in place of the jig using an egg bumper rigged hook(s)?

If that is the case, slide on your slip float, a bead, a slider weight, how much you need to cast, a bead, a swivel. Tie a leader with 2 egg bumper snelled hooks really close together. Of course the size of hooks depends on the fish, the water clarity etc, etc. Length of leader whatever for the water you are fishing so you are bumping the bottom.

This is one way I can think of. Of course I may not know what the h*ll I am talking about.
