So what stage are we at in the effort to remove the Elwha dams? I wrote a report on it last year for school and after investigating everything, I got so damn pissed off I just stopped following the issue. So what's the latest? When will I be able to hike up the Elwha trail and nail a steelhead or maybe a 100 pound Tyee? Not soon I assume, but maybe within my lifetime??? I'd love to be at that meeting, perhaps I'll show up if I'm out that way fishing.
