Just an FYI,

I talked with one of my clients in Westport who is a fish buyer and he says that the Troll-king season that closes at noon today has been one of the best king fisheries that he has seen in a long time. The trollers will be closed down from noon today until July 1, when we will both get our shot at those fish. The outlook is good.

Another note is that this guy says that there was at one time more than a hundred boats targeting kings commercially, but that the fleet is down to only a couple of dozen boats after all of the license buy-back programs.

I know this is a sport fishing forum, but good info from the commercial guys is just that, good info.
