Yes, definately bring your pole. The north jetty is just a skip and a hop from the campground. Leave the buzzbombs at home, just climb out on the rocks and toss a bobber/herring combo. Target the slack tides! If you need info on the rigging, pull up my old post titled "chinookies and ho's off of the beach". The local tackle stores and the campground store have all the essential gear. Warning: the jetty can be a dangerous place for small kids and less than mobile adults. Bring a net with a longer handle.
