Fished Pt. Defiance with my friend and his Son on Friday from 5:00 AM til about 1:00. Had one fish on about an hour and a half after the morning tide change out in front of the boathouse that we lost and one other hit a short time later that didn't stick. Overall it was a pretty slow day, saw 3 fish landed and the fish checker had only recorded 3 fish when we got back in. Trolled flashers and just about every color hooch I had in the box, bucktail flies, and some Coyote spoons to boot. Had to keep checking the gear often as the jelly fish were thick!!! Talking with some of the other folks on the water the fishing had slowed down from the week before. Just have to get em' next time!!!
