catcher1 I bought a used wood drift boat last year that I think might fit your needs. After I bought it, I re-fiberglassed the sides, and reinforced some of the gunwhales. I also repainted it, although the marine paint I used turned out to be a brighter green than I had anticipated, so another coat of your color choice might be necessary.

It is a 14' wood drift boat, with trailer, some fairly cheap oars, an anchor system and a fish-on rod holder. I would sell it for $400, all things included if you are interested. I can be reached at chetzimmer@yahoo.com.

One issue is the fact that it's down in Oregon so I could only send you digital photos of it unless you are down that way and have a chance to stop in and see it. I currently live in a Seattle apartment with no parking for boat :(, but I could bring it up next time I'm down in Oregon and can pick it up. That might be a month down the road though.

It is a good starter boat, and I am selling it to get a larger boat. It fishes 2 comfortably, but I have had 3 in it which ws crowded fishing when casting.

Email me if you're interested and we can see if it's something that will work for you.
