Hey Matt, I'm not quite sure what your asking. Are you talking about putting up eggs in a brine cure, or are you trying to make your own powder type cure?? If your attempting to do the latter of the two, I'd suggest making it easier on yourself by just going out and buying a commerical cure (Pro-Cure, Quick-Cure, etc.) and following the directions. This way you have a cure that already has dye in it. Maybe if you elaborate on your question a little more, I can do a better job of answering it.
