Oh oh. Two things just in:
1 - NW weather forecasters now predict a late start to the rainy season.
2 - And this local report just posted about the Satsop and Chehalis >>>

Better start thinking about a plan B. Checked out the Satsop yesterday and was a trickle. Any lower and you won't be able to use the launch at the bridge. Uaually look to fish it at 2000-2500 cfm. Right now it is at a little over 300 cfm. Pray for rain...lots of rain or pick another puddle. I have been fishing the Chehalis below the Satsop mouth and it has been dismal at best. Granted this is a late system but should be into the kings and early silvers by now. I wouldn't be surprised to see an emergency closure on the whole system to protect the kings and non-clipped silvers. It's really starting off that bad! Any one having a different perspective please let me know."

So, tough Q's for vocal Waaaaasie leader types Jim Bain and Dan Sandberg. Does that mean we all buy small catarafts to drag down the 'Sop in search of the 2 or 3 dark fish in it on the 6th, so Os and Dan won't snibble F III into oblivion? Does it mean we change the date to late Oct (or until enough rain and fish arrive in it), so guys like me that like that type river can have at it - and of course so Os and Dan won't snibble? Or does this mean those guys that prefered the Cow all along will have their way on the 6th - and Os and Dan will really snibble away shamelessly? Tough decisions. You Waaas let us OR boys know what you decide. Thanks.
Maybe they will decide that it would be too much of an embarrassment getting whupped by more OR guys showing up this time, and just chicken out? Inquiring minds await the outcome. (lighten up - still just trash talkin

)
