Ironfisherman--I was on the Skokomish on Sunday. Hooked seven kings and landed four. Most of the biters were on straight eggs--fish seemed to go on & off the bite related to the number of fisherman wading & pounding the water. I had three hookups when there were only two of us fishing the hole, but was blanked when the snaggers showed up in force. These fish will bit--but not if people stand on top of them and "whiff" every three seconds. The water was low and clear so stealth is important. The tribal netters were courtious and did not net the holes we were fishing. I saw one silver caught, and I landed one very bright buck about 10 pounds early--(the only bright fish I landed) and released him because I didn't want to stop fishing. Good luck if you go to the Skok. JT
