Saw a friend weigh-in an ocean caught silver yesterday afternoon on an extreemely accurate digital scale. When it read 23ibs. our eyes got a little wider. I thought the state record was listed as 20.6 lbs. in the fishing reg. pamphlet but I cant find one of my numerous copies around. I was going to give him a call and razz him about not driving to Montesano and having it officially wieghed. Any validity to the 20.6 lb. current record.
And yes, the 7-day a week ocean fishing schedule out of Westport is still well worth it!!!
