Ive had the same type of experiences on the Sno. When you get good numbers of fish close to a big population of people you get ALOT of guys who just dont have a clue. Most of them arent intentially corking you but just lack knowldege on river ettiquete.
Like mentioned above, you can tell who the rookies are out there by the gear they are using or if they automatically flock to wherever the most boats are or most bankies. You cant get pissed at these guys right away because they flat out dont know better.
Ive had guys anchor 15 feet infront of me and when i asked them to move their boat they gave me a look like i was out of line when i'd been throwing there since 5 in the morning and they show up at 10 like they own the river =/ Dont even get me started on the snag boys.
For the most part, its alot of fun, most guys do give you ample room and release snagged fish, its the few that ruin it for others.
