I'm still a little confused on your original post question. Call me ignorant, but how does a 1-2 week old fishing report help in your fishing for this weekend? What happened last weekend has absolutely nothing to do with this weekend.

Here's what I know:

*The Nooch was painfully low over the last two weeks.

*Fishing has been slow due to the low water.

*It's been raining, which means the rivers will quickly blow out.

*Depending on how much rain we get, and for how long we continue to get rain, will determine what happens on the Nooch.

*Checking the weather shows it *might* be raining over the next two days. Seeing how our weather changes every 15 minutes, I'd check it often.

*On Friday, I'll check both weather.com and the USGS site for Aberdeen and the Nooch.

*As long as the river is dropping, I will catch fish. Might have to present my gear in different holding water, but I can pretty much guarantee myself that fish will move up with the higher water and will be in the river. It's late fall and there's a ton of fish out there. Give these rivers a little water and they will truly explode.

*Use what you know that works and stick with it. If you're not getting fish, it's probably because the fish are not holding where you think they should be.

If it just showers and not downpours for the later half of this week, the Satsop, Nooch, nd Hump should be on fire. No BS there.
