Hit Al Borland park this a.m., heard the chums were starting up.

Hooked and released a dinky (about 3lbs.)silver, pure chrome bright. Also hooked into a chum, probably 12 lbs., but pretty skanky looking, especially for 8:00a.m.! Tried to horse him in to get fishing again and busted my 1/0 purple John's jig. Dangit.

Went home at 9:30 wet, cold, and whishing I'd kept that coho for dinner.

Anyone know where there's a good supply of John's jigs? The place I usually go is always out of the sizes and colors I want.
