..... lots of boats and fishermen. But also lots of BIG 'nooks! After 2 subpar years this fall will be a good one. And there have been a lot of really big fish caught this year already; many over 50 and some over 60 lbs. The rivers dumping into the T-Bay recieve one of the latest runs of fall chinooks. They come in bright on in thru the first week of December, with the peak thru November in the Wilson and Kilchis rivers for mint bright fish. The Trask river gets the most fish, but it is a little earlier peak and has a bit lower % of bright fish in November.

The 2 best go-to baits are good egg clusters and sardine wrapped Kwkifish. If you know how to present them you are going to connect this year! We have already caught several on jigs in the low clear water, in the deeper holes before the rains this week. The rivers there haven't gotten as much rain as the OP, which is usual, but are starting to come up into the proper levels this week. Any Q's you might have about it, ask away. (except where secret holes are wink )
