It costs us license buyers and taxpayers alot to raise those fish. Our major recourse would be to petition for closing of those hatcheries, course we couldnt enjoy a Hoodsport type experience then. Also the tribes would probably sue (and win) to have them stay open or under their direct operation.
Also not a peta type but no one in the scenario as it exists today, tribes, supporters of hatcheries, commercials, should feel good about raising an animal so that we can stip it's eggs and let it's body rot on the beach. I believe we should use our big brains to strive for alittle more harmony here, ha ha.
