I've been fishing this river off and on for about as long as all of you have. When I find the bridge crossings crowded I go to other places that I know of. It might be a small river but with a little searching you can find a lot of places on you own. As for fishing this river in Oct. Are you sure that he's not talking about Pilchuck Creek. It also has steelhead in it but not too many. Jim S.
