You know, I feel same way. You don't know how to tell a fish from another fish then you should quit. My word, they're so easy to tell. Hmmmm, chums fresh from the salt and no bars showing, all chrome. What's the one thing that would really distinguish from a steelie??? NO SPOTS!!!!!!!! Sheesh. I think that before you get a license you should have to be able to ID the species of fish.
