When the rivers are blown look for small creek mouths that are still running clear. A lot of times these may be only present during a rain event and dry the rest of the year. Some of these aren't even able to be classed as creeks. You'll find steelies nosed right up into these to get out of the dirt. Try medium to large spin glos with bait essentially plunked in their faces and you'll be pleasantly surprised by fish on! Problem is that the fish is going to have all that riverflow to kick your butt.
