With oral LD50s (50% lethal likelihood) of about 1 gram per kilogram of host (victim) weight that means that an average 80 kg (176 pound) person could consume up to 80 grams (about a tenth of a pound) probably without dying. That is not much more toxic than ordinary table salt. Pretty safe stuff.
