The crowing was pretty short lived! We threw the DB in for a couple hour drift friday. He runs a line through all the holes first. I cast in the second to last hole, had some slack in my line an sure enough a fish picks it up. Didn't get a good hook set into it and lost it. DWF gets a few more casts in while I'm baiting up. I cast and wham fish on. I get the fish in the boat and get rigged up again. About the 3rd cast I get a funny feeling bump and set the hook, [I] "P*$$ on you he says"[I] ( he thought I had another fish) He had allready forgotten about the day before.
