I got an idea that would be even better than the one I posted about getting 2 depths out of a single float drift. But this one will be a real challenge to make. The person who invents it will be living next door to Bill Gates, and often be yachting the Inside Passage with a crane lowered jetsled to fish all the rivers on the way up. eek ...

Invent a feasbly priced float that will keep your bait a set distance off the bottom, one foot or whatever you want to set it at, as it drifts down over uneven river bottom. It would need to have a small cadium battery to operate a cheap tiny chip board mini-sonar and a battery operated mini line winch to accomplish that. You would need to use strong 40 lb. superbraid line with it so as not to lose an expensive item such as this to snags - only losing the hook and leader; or run after it if it breaks off but floats. Could such an awesome fishing float be manufactured? [We don't think so Steve] Hey, there's that voice again confused How much would it cost? [TOO DAMN MUCH YA IDIOT] You don't have to yell! ... I WANT several of them! Even at about $19.95 a pop. smile [ rolleyes ]
