Another fishing buddy swallows the Anchor.SAD.
Gary was a really neat guy.Generous and kind.I was bumming around Montana towing my drift boat when I meet him.In the 70's there were still not many drift boats around Montana.Meet him on the Big Hole.Then again on the Clark Fork.Then on the Jefferson.He decided I was not leaving Montana right away and introduced himself.Next thing I know he says why don't you come stay at my place and we will go fish the Clark Fork.This after a total of maybe an hour conversation on three different occasions.Gary appeared on my TV show several times and was one of my favorite guests.His love of the sport never diminished.His attitude and viewpoint expanded my life in many ways.With regards to both Fish, Insects and People.God Bless this honestly good Man.
