My only guess is because area 10 got a 2 week Christmas fisery at the end of 2001. I do not understand why this has an affect but that is my guess because area 9 did not have that two extra weeks. That two week fishery and the catch and release season that went along with it is supposedly the reason that the Hood Canal was not open in the fall/winter this year for Blackmouth. But I can not wait for Mid-Channel on the 16 th.
