I tie a knot with mono about as well as anyone, but my Power Pro knotting has not been as successful, even with the recommended knots that come in the Power Pro instructions. I really like the stuff for downrigger fishing - hardly any drag lets you pick up the bite much easier, and I like it for motor mooching as I can drop an ounce or two due to small diameter. And I have never had a fish break me off (hell, I even played out a Columbia seal on it!). But I hung my gear up a couple times this year and lost the whole thing (fishflash, diver, swivels, hooks, aka a $20 bill!) from the 30 pound Power Pro letting go at the knot before my 20 lb XT leader did. So if this thing will give me a 20+ pound knot for 5 bucks then it is money more than well spent. Looking forward to trying it and thanks again guys
