Lamiglas and Femwick make good rods for under $100.00. I recently bought a Okuma 8/9 reel which has a drag $42.00. I haven't yet used it as it seems that when I want to go it has to rain. Like today it's nice out and I have to babysit. I think that I have all of the bad luck in the world. Jim laugh
