Here is an e mail I got from a buddy that lives in Pendleton, that fished the Ronde this last weekend:

"Fished from a couple miles above Boggans to the oregon washington border. The access was great, couldnt ask for anything better. This was the first time I fished the grand ronde and the first time i had ever saw that stretch of river. I fished only float and jig, the only jigs that worked for me were a black head blue maribou, and purple head purple sculpin hackle body silent approach ambush jig. The native i lost at my feet was upwards of nine pounds and put up an excellent fight. The hatchery fish fought very well for their size, one even broke my 8lb leader."

Any ???, e mail me and I would be glad to help you out more if needed. Justin
