Hey guys, it’s not going to help bugging Pete Castle, but your welcome to try. I talked with him earlier in the year and he said during their counts they only count about one red per mile. I completely can’t believe that! He also said they have been trying to fly it regularly but lucky if they count it more than a few times a year because of visibility. Personally I don’t think they have a clue; it’s either not restrictive enough or too restrictive. Did you notice on the WDF Site they don't specify what the escapement should be? Is it they don't have a clue what's in the river and how many they should have? It also seems that since Pete is about to retire he would rather error on being more conservative. All I can say is thanks a lot Pete!
