This sounds like pretty good news compared to last year. Now what about the Sky?

I just "rediscovered" the Sauk last weekend. I remembered the Sauk a mellow little river with long bars dropping into big swirling holes. It has completely changed into a channeled snarly dog with massive amounts of downed timber. What I thought would be a fairly easy drift was actually somewhat challenging. We spoke to some folks who told us that the course of the river has changed three times this year. We fished without success. The clarity was about 6 inches at best.
