Check out these pics of one of my favorite Puget Sound river tributaries. Unreal amount of water coming over the diversion dam and luckily it didn't flood out the research station.



Normally, the water spills over the diversion dam here and flattens out rather quickly. Not any more! Yikes!



That shack in the picture is some kind of research station. The worker that day was packing up valuables and getting ready to vacate. I wonder why?



Look how close the water got to flooding this place out! It actually rose a bit higher before it crested later that evening. Looks like a houseboat in this pic.



Below is a pic of the fish ladder. Where is the grating? Long gone I imagine since it's full of trees!



If anybody knows this particular spot, then please keep it to yourself since it is a small stream and I don't want to advertise it to the whole WWW. Thanks, and hope you've enjoyed the pics.
