Hey kid, don't fret. Seems that is getting to be a common occurance in this modern era - guys getting a rod tip stuck on their butt section. They forget to use some kind of lubricant. Parafin wax is the ol' standby. ... As for getting the sections apart, I recall another thread about this same situation; so maybe you can use the search feature to find a bunch of good ideas. I suggest having another person help you pull them apart after hot tap water heating the outside section briefly. This should slightly expand the outer fit and not the inner one, making it a bit easier to pull apart. Washed hands or wearing leather gloves will give you better grip. Be careful to keep the rod straight as you pull hard on it with only mild twisting pressure; otherwise you could torque crack some of the fibers. ... Probably some better ideas than this that someone will post.
