Hello to all,

I'm a newby on this board and (dare I say?) ifish.net as well. I was told that this board is more for us up north and the other board more for Oregon.

I am a student and an inexperienced fisherman who wants to learn all I can cuz I sure love to fish. :p I've caught some fish here and there, but really got the bug early last fall on the Puyallup when the silvers came in strong. Corkey, yarn, and a lot of asking questions, and then soon enough I was catching some fish.

I have a truck, and a boat I can use any time (20' v-john style jet sled - dad's retirement gift to himself) and am eager to learn. I would be glad to take someone out for springers if they could show me the ropes. I'm not sure where to go or what to use on the Columbia for salmon.

Any wisdom or advice is much appreciated. I will be sure to post any open seats when I head out for salmon or sturgeon. Come fall, I'll post when there is room for another to go duck hunting on the potholes with us.

Hopefully I will meet many of you on the water!
