neither of these happened to me but i'll tell anyway.

On the columbia my buddie was sturgeon fishing and his rod went down. he set the hook and they fought it for 45mins and never saw it once. they finally got it to where they saw it and it turned out to be a 12ft LOG bouncing down the river WHAT AN IDIOT! HAHAHAHA

My other friend said he and his dad saw a seal in the snohomish a ways up from the mouth, i asked his dad and he verifyed it.
